Real estate appraisers are often hired to provide a credible real property valuation to help settle disputes stemming from divorce, eminent domain, environmental contamination, tax appeals, and other legal situations. Beyond writing an appraisal, appraisers are often expected to provide expert witness testimony and even litigation support. The Partners at Sammartino, Stout & Lo Presti have experience preparing litigation appraisals for a wide range of property types, and we been qualified as an expert witness in numerous venues. If not retained to provide an appraisal, we are also available to provide litigation support in the form of conducting a formal USPAP compliant appraisal review and/or cross examination preparation.
