Robert G. Stout, Jr., MAI is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute and a licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. Areas of expertise include: apartments, subdivisions (single-family and condominium), office buildings, retail plazas/shopping centers, hotels & motels, restaurants, industrial facilities, mobile home parks, self-storage lockers, restaurants, conservation / agricultural easements, and appraisal reviews. Mr. Stout is also experienced in completing Going Concern valuations in a variety of property types. Additionally, appraisals conforming to the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisition (UASFLA / "Yellow Book") and the "Farm and Ranch Protection Program" have been completed. Mr. Stout has also developed in-depth market/feasibility studies. Mr. Stout has qualified as an expert witness in a variety of proceedings.

Sergio S. Lo Presti, MAI is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute and a licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. Appraisal experience includes participation in a variety of eminent domain (condemnation) appraisals throughout Pennsylvania including complex assignments requiring state-wide solicitation and collaboration with third-party specialists.  Mr. Lo Presti has also completed numerous appraisals conforming to the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisition (aka "Yellow Book"), the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (“Uniform Act”), and PennDOT Publication 378 the Right-of-Way Manual, among others. Other areas of focus include: medical and professional offices, single and multi-tenant retail, industrial, restaurants, net-leased investments, and special use properties. Mr. Lo Presti has qualified as an expert witness in a variety of proceedings.

Corey J. Wolbert is a licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Pennsylvania and New York. Mr. Wolbert has participated in a wide variety of appraisals with a focus on the following property types: lodging (e.g., hotels, motels, and B&Bs), apartments, industrial properties, offices, net-leased investments, retail properties, special use properties (marinas and campgrounds), and large residential estates. Mr. Wolbert also has experience appraising rent-restricted multi-family projects and completing HUD Rent Comparability Studies (RCS).

Natalie LaCoe is assisting our staff on a variety of real estate appraisal assignments, and she is working toward General Certification in Pennsylvania. Mr. Kunselman graduated from Penn State Behrend in 2024 and jointed our firm in 2025. He is working toward the Appraiser Trainee license with the long-term goal of obtaining state certification. 

MAI Designation

The MAI Designation is held by professionals who provide a wide range of services on all types of real property related to providing opinions of value, evaluations, review, consulting and advice on investment decisions, among other things. 


To become an MAI Designated member of the Appraisal Institute, an individual must: 

  • Have good moral character;
  • Be a Certified General Real Property Appraiser;
  • Hold bachelor's degree;
  • Meet standards and ethics requirements;
  • Pass rigorous education requirements;  
  • Pass a comprehensive examination;
  • Receive credit for specialized experience; 
  • Receive credit for the demonstration of knowledge. 


These individuals have the necessary commercial property valuation experience and knowledge to produce a valuation that ensures confidence. MAI Designated members agree to adhere to the Appraisal Institute Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, underscoring a commitment to sound and ethical professional practice.  The completion of continuing education requirements assures that MAI Designated members remain informed on trends and changes pertaining to real property valuation, enabling them to provide valuations that reflect the latest in professional practice.  


The MAI Designation has long been recognized by courts of law, government agencies, financial institutions, and investors as a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis.
